Meet Alina Thomas. She has been a photographer with Tres Belle since 2017 and we are so blessed to have such a talented photographer on our team! Describe your personality: I’m easygoing and love nothing more than exceeding my couples’ expectations by capturing every element of their wedding through a positive and relaxed atmosphere.
What do you like to do in your free time? When I’m not shooting weddings, you can catch me decorating (and redecorating) my home, and finding way too many projects around the house for my husband to help me with. Tim and I are also avid Netflix watchers!
How long have you been doing photography and what made you want to start this career? I’ve been photographing weddings for 6 years and have been part of the Tres Belle family since 2017. Before I was ever a photographer, I was a bride as well. My husband and I met on a missions trip in Romania, Europe where I grew up. Together we planned THREE weddings: two in Europe and one in the States. This pretty much made me fall in love with documenting real and authentic love stories and I am always so humbled and honored to be invited into this special time of my couples’ lives.
Is this your full time job? Yes, I’ve been blessed to not only call photography my passion, but also my full time job.
Describe your style of photography: I’m known for clean, vibrant images with a light and airy feel.
Do you prefer posed or unposed pictures? I love capturing raw emotions and candid moments. However, I don’t shy away from directing my clients at the times they need it most.
What advice would you give brides when choosing a photographer? Make sure your personalities match. Your photographer is going to be with you on your wedding day longer than your future husband.
What was your most fun/memorable photoshoot? While I feel that all of my weddings are noteworthy, photographing my cousin’s wedding was extra special to witness.
What is your favorite thing about photographing weddings? Capturing genuine emotion between my couples and their loved ones. Every smile and tear of joy has a story worth documenting.
